An international basketball summer league tournament designed for rapid player development.
Key Principle
– Communication is key – in basketball and in life.
Team Formation
– You must create your own team by selecting players:
– Older and younger than yourself.
– Exception: If you are 15, you can only pick younger players.
Age Groups (3 Locations)
– 12-15 years old (born 2010–2013).
– To be determined (2 age groups).
– 8-12, 12-15/16, 16 & up.
Team Size
– Minimum: 4 players.
– Maximum: 5 players OR 4 players + 1 coach.

Stockholm Fryshuset Tournament Details
Dates: 5–6 July 2025
– July 5: Girls
– July 6: Boys
Turneringsformat
– 64 teams total.
– Age restriction: Only 2 players per team can be from the same birth year. The rest must be older/younger.
– On-court rule: No two players of the same age can be on the floor simultaneously.
– Games played:
– Minimum: 3 games.
– Maximum: TBD.
Schedule
– 8:00–10:00: Group A (6 baskets).
– 10:00–12:00: Group B (6 baskets).
– 12:00–14:00: Group C (4 baskets).
– 14:00–16:00: Dance battle competition & surprises.
– 16:00–21:00: Knockout stage (32 remaining teams).

Game Rules & Mechanics
Scoring System
– Games played to 11 points (1s & 2s).
– Winning condition: Must win by 2 points.
– Point values:
– Regular 2-pointer = 1 point.
– 3-pointer = 2 points.
– Foul rules:
– If fouled and basket is made: +1 free throw (1 point).
– If fouled on shot: 2 free throws (from 3-point line, top of the key).
– Rebound rule: If first shot is missed, offensive/defensive rebound is allowed.
– Second shot: Only attempted if first is made.
– Defensive rebound: Must clear the ball beyond the 3-point line (if rim was touched).
Game Flow
– Check-ball rule: After a made basket, the offensive team has 10 seconds to inbound.
– Defender must pass the ball back to the offensive player to resume play.
– Dribble limit: 5 dribbles per possession (team total).
– 6th dribble = turnover.
– Offensive rebounds: Dribble count resets to 5.
Fouls & Discipline
– Player fouls: Max 5 per player.
– On 5th foul: Opponent gets automatic free throw(s) (1 or 2, depending on first shot).
– Technical fouls:
– 2 technicals = suspension for that game.
– Unsportsmanlike fouls:
– 2 unsportsmanlike fouls = tournament suspension.
Rebounding & Positioning
– Free throws: Rebounders must stay outside the 3-point line until release.
– Early entry = warning; shooter retakes if missed.
– Defensive rebound advice: Take 1 power dribble, then pass outside the 3-point line.
Out-of-Bounds & Inbounding
– Standard rules apply.
– 5-second count to inbound.
– Teams may double-team inbounder to force turnovers.
