Welcome to the L2x2C.

The Lampe2x2Challenge, an international 2×2 basketball tournament designed for players development into 5×5 basketball.

The Lampe2x2Challenge is a unique opportunity for players to develop their basketball skills at a rapid pace. The tournament includes both men’s and women’s categories and features a brad variety of age groups. Mixing 2/3 age groups in one. Only allowing 1 player on the court from the oldest age group. Max 2 per team. This structure allows players to compete with both older and younger opponents, at all times. A crucial factor in player development.

At the core of the event is communication — a key factor not only in sports but also in life. Participants are encouraged to connect with players younger or older than themselves to form teams and take part in this unique competition. The Lampe2x2Challenge is built around the idea of learning through diversity, challenge, and collaboration.

The L2x2C features spacial rules like the 5 dribbles per possession rule. This makes the game very fast and dynamic. 

If the ball touches the rim on a shot attempt it has to be moved out of the 3 point line in order to attack again. I recommend 0 max 1 dribbles to do so. Just like an out let pass in 5×5 basketball. 

If the ball does not touch the rim on a shot attempt its considered like a steal. Does not have to be taken out of the 3 point line. This works great on kids reaction and concentration.

On sideline and baseline out of bounds plays players can double team the player on the court. Another great aspect of building good basket fundamentals from an early age.

Games are played to 11 points by 1s and 2s. Having to win by 2 point difference. 

All rules are structured to enhance good basketball fundamentals from and early age.  

With 6 tournaments done in 3 countries Sweden, Poland and Serbia in 2025.

The L2x2C is growing at a rapid paste.  

Locations for 2026 include Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Kazakstan, Dubai, France, Spain, Serbia among other on the horizon.
